The Big 5 of Strategy is a competency-based assessment, not a personality test. While popular tools like DISC or Myers-Briggs aim to explain personality traits—typically viewed as relatively fixed or rooted in nature, the Big 5 of Strategy focuses on learnable, developable skills.

The assessment consists of an online survey with 100 statements for which you indicate how frequently they apply to you. At the end of the assessment, we also ask you for a few details about your background that we use for benchmarking.

On average the assessment takes 15-20 minutes to complete, but there is no time limit, so you can take the time you need, also of that is more.

Yes, because your data is not stored before you click the ‘Complete’ button at the end. Until you have completed the assessment you can always reuse the link in the email and start again, as your previous answers will not be saved.

Yes and this is strongly recommended, e.g. to take the assessment every year. Anytime you purchase an assessment, a unique link will be created so that you can take the assessment as many times as you like.

The unique link you receive is for a single assessment. Once you have clicked ‘Complete’ at the end, you cannot use it again. If you want to take the assessment again, you can simply purchase it again and you will receive a new unique link.

All your data is safely stored. We generally use it for two reasons. First, to be able to create your personalized report, and second, for anonymous research and benchmarking. For details we refer to our privacy policy.
